The apartment is superbly located, and well protected from... read more weather elements with excellent walkability to the Waterfront all the way to Seapoint. Perfect lock up and go! It is well laid out and tastefully decorated. Our only criticism is that because of it's popularity it may be neglected on occasion in terms of a proper spring / deeper clean but we were assured this would be attended to. Daily house keeping does a good job and keeping the place mostly clean and tidy during the stay. The Marina has excellent security and amenities. We will definitely be back. The apartment manager is excellent and very professional and helpful. He ensured we had a great booking process, a speedy check in, and were comfy during our stay.

The only slight negative... read more was that we found the mattresses to be very firm but some people probably would prefer a firm mattress. The location is great and the unit is in a very safe and secure building.

By renting an entire apartment from Ocean and Marina we were able to save a lot of money when compared to booking three individual hotel rooms in the area. We stayed in Pembroke 203 which has a massive wrap-around balcony in the front with breathtaking views of the yacht basin. The back balcony of the apartment had a great view of Table Mountain which I personally enjoyed being able to see every morning. Overall, the apartment was well equipped (Wi-Fi, towel, TV, cooking/eating utensils), cleanliness was great, and we had a good interaction with Blaine (the host) who was very knowledgeable on the area. He showed us a few nice hikes in the Table Mountain area and had some good recommendations on the restaurants and bars on Long Street. All with all a superb value for money!

The apartment was stylishly furnished and very spacious - especially the living room! We had everything we needed (TV, Wi-Fi, dishwasher etc.), but our highlight was the private balcony with a stunning view of the marina canals! We were also very impressed with the 24/7 on-site security and the underground parking which had direct access to the apartment - we felt totally safe all the time. The best part of the apartment was its location, we were right in the heart of Cape Town and all the attractions we were interested in were at most a 15 min drive away. We will definitely come back!
